CHARITY
WHAT CHARITY MEANS TO US.
Charity lies at the heart of the FS organisation. It is our commitment to raising both funds and awareness for inspiring causes that drive every person involved in FS to execute their positions with utmost passion and integrity.
In order to inform our community about the vast amount of charitable causes that exist, FS partners with a different charity annually. In recent years we have focused on the pressing issues of homelessness, health, and sustainability. We have integrated these charitable missions into all aspects of our events and have successfully achieved our goal of educating our audience about these causes whilst raising funds to help these organisations further their goals.
Throughout out 32 years, FS has donated over £600,000 to charity.

FS2025 CHARITY: Scottish Women’s Aid
This year at FS, we have chosen to support the cause of domestic abuse prevention and response.
Domestic abuse is a pervasive issue that affects countless individuals, families, and communities. By focusing our efforts on this essential cause, we aim to shed light on the devastating impacts of domestic abuse and provide much-needed support and resources to those affected. In addition to this, we feel passionately that our charity partner should be Scottish, as we seek to generate positive impact and awareness within our local communities. FS2025 aims to focus on a prevalent issue which is targeted by a local, Scottish organisation.
In light of this commitment, we are extremely privileged to partner with Scottish Women’s Aid (SWA), the leading organisation in Scotland dedicated to preventing domestic abuse.
Since their beginning in 1976, Scottish Women’s Aid has been instrumental in shaping effective responses to domestic abuse across the country. SWA coordinate, influence, and campaign for comprehensive and impactful measures to address domestic abuse. Their key initiatives include:
Scottish Women’s Aid's network of 33 specialist local Women’s Aid groups who work tirelessly towards a shared vision of a Scotland where domestic abuse is not tolerated.
As well as Scotland’s Domestic Abuse and Forced Marriage Helpline, which operates 24/7. In the 2022-2023 period, this vital helpline received over 12,000 calls from women and children seeking information and support.
By partnering with Scottish Women’s Aid, we aim to amplify their critical work and contribute to a safer, more supportive environment for those affected by domestic abuse.
